The wars of old have left a permanent scar on the world and the surviving population. Many warriors desperately cling to various faiths and keep talismans and other relics on them, hoping for divine protection as they fight desperately on twisted battlefields against wretches afflicted by otherworldly curses. This group in particular had previously sworn fealty to the Saint of Seven Spears, bearing a crest on their besagews symbolic of her heroism.
